” Kent and Jill Baddely manage an absolutely outstanding country retreat surrounded by some of the world’s best pinot noir vineyards. It’s a hidden treasure. The 5 star accommodation is beautifully appointed and excellent value. We stayed for four days in one of their Secluded Cottages, which had everything you could possibly need in a luxury villa, including a calming view of the lush unspoilt countryside.
Kent is not only the chief executive, he is also the executive chef and he lives up to his well-earned reputation as one of the country’s best chefs. His innovative cuisine is to die for. We recommend his wonderful breakfasts. And whatever you do, don’t miss his five course degustation dinners, which include a selection of superb local wines.
Nothing seemed to be any trouble to the hosts and their very hospitable and friendly team at Parehua. It’s one of the best places we’ve stayed at, anywhere. We will return, that’s for sure.”
