Imagine…After a delightful welcoming at Parehua Woodland Villa, complete with refreshments that you will boast about, you can freshen up in your spacious villa and slip into some designer PJíS and watch girls movies with Louis Roederer Champagne. After laughing until your sides hurt as you watch your favourite movies together, and a wonderful nights sleep you waken to a wonderful leisurely yummy breakfast. You will then receive beauty therapy treatments ( massage, pedicure, manicure ) and an opportunity to shop in Greytowns quaint upmarket village, bike ride through the vineyards, relax, and then arrive in the Pavilion Restaurant for a beautiful Spa Dinner with exceptional Martinborough Wines.

The famous Martinborough Fair is held annually on the first Saturdays in February and March – 2009 fairs are set for Saturday 7th February and Saturday 7th March.

8am – 4pm – nearly 500 stalls to visit.

This mercurial performer is undoubtedly one of the most popular and best-loved singers, and over the past year he’s been delivering killer ‘a day on the green’ performances around Australia.

Celebrate St Valentines day this year with Tirohana Estate’s LOVE IN THE VINES featuring Tre-Belle & Haydn Strings Quartet and Harpists. Doors open 11am – 5pm. Tickets from ticketmaster or phone 06 306 9933.

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriters John Mellencamp and Sheryl Crow will play five ‘a day on the green’ events as part of their Australian and New Zealand concert tour just announced. In what is set to be one of THE most anticipated concerts of the year, Mellencamp and Crow will perform in New Zealand on Saturday December 6 at the Alana Estate Winery, Martinborough in Wellington.

Now in its 17th year, Toast Martinborough is the annual showcase of quality wine produced in the award winning region.

Held on the third Sunday in November, the festival sees the population of the small Wairarapa town swell tenfold as wine and food lovers from throughout the country come to celebrate the release of the new vintage and enjoy New Zealand’s premium wine, food and music festival.

Each of the 12 participating vineyards features a selection of new and limited release wines superbly matched to culinary delights from Wellington and the Wairarapa’s top restaurants, and accompanied by some of New Zealand’s finest live entertainment.

With most of the largely boutique vineyards located within walking distance of each other, the festival provides a unique opportunity to sample some of the world’s best wines within a charming wine village atmosphere.
